I designed custom cleats to match with Nikes MLB City Connect Jerseys. Built from elements from nikes visual identity for this years city connect jersseys that a handful of MLB teams got. They wanted custom cleats for each Nike player on those teams with those jersey’s. I worked through a few rounds of design with another designer and shoe customizer to finally land on what we thought was possible for our timeline. We designed over 20 plus unique designs for 8 teams. I took some testing and protoyping to land on final designs that would last through play.
